Tennis is great exercise. With exercise, you will get in better shape. I think we’d all agree with that. When you’re in better shape, you’ll be able to move around the court better, load your legs during shots, etc. which will undoubtedly improve your results.
When it comes to training for tennis, I suggest cross training to target the following areas
- Arms and shoulders
It’s best to train both in tennis technique and in tennis fitness during practice sessions. Outside to practice, find other activities or sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, Swimming, Jogging, etc. that will help your tennis game as well!
